Modern India Architect Pvt Ltd has an office at J-6 in Green Park. This is right in the Green Park Main area of Delhi. It is a very central and busy part of the city. Our office is in an older building, which has its own character. We have been working out of the 110016 area for quite some time now. Being in Green Park means there is always something happening outside our windows. The streets are narrow and parking is almost impossible, but we like being here. Inside, it is a bit of a mix of old files and new technology. We have a few drafting stations set up. We do a lot of work on local buildings, trying to update them or plan new ones from scratch. It is not a corporate setup with a fancy lobby. It is a working office where people are actually doing the labor of architecture. We spend our days talking to municipal authorities, meeting with clients, and staring at floor plans until they make sense. Sometimes we have to work through the weekends if a deadline is coming up fast. It is just a normal Delhi business. We are not trying to be something we are not. We just focus on the bricks and mortar and the drawings that make it all possible. It is a lot of work but it keeps us going every day. We just try to get things right.
