Mehta Masala Grah Udhyog

Our business, Mehta Masala Grah Udhyog, is located at 19/64 Shree Builders Complex in Dabri Pitha. we have been working out of this space for some time. It is mostly about grinding and mixing different spices that people use in their cooking every day. When you walk near the complex, you can usually smell the turmeric or the chili being processed. It is a lot of hard work and the air gets quite dusty with the powders. We use some old grinders that make a bit of noise, but they do the job well enough. My hands usually stay stained yellow from the spices by the end of the shift. We do not have a big office or anything like that. It is just the work area and a small space where we pack things into bags. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them. It is just me and a couple of others doing the daily tasks. We supply to the local shops around Dabri Pitha and sometimes people come directly to the complex to get fresh batches. It is not a glamorous job, but people always need spices for their food. We keep things simple and just focus on getting the work done every day. The floors are always covered in a fine layer of red and yellow powder no matter how much we sweep.
