Maymamitra Foundtaion

Maymamitra Foundtaion is tucked away in Yamuna Vihar. The office is at C7/50 on the first floor. We are near Bhajan Pura, which is a busy part of New Delhi 110053. The traffic near Bhajan Pura is usually a mess, but Yamuna Vihar itself is a bit more relaxed once you get inside. From our first-floor window, we can see the people going about their business. It’s a typical residential building that we’ve turned into our workspace. There are tables scattered around and stacks of paper in every corner. It isn't the most organized place, but we manage just fine. The ceiling fan has a constant hum. We have stayed at C7/50 for quite some time now. Most of our staff takes the bus to get here every morning. It’s a simple way of living. We come in, make a pot of tea, and start on the day's tasks. We don't really have big meetings or fancy presentations. It’s mostly just us grinding through the paperwork. The building is just like the others on the street. Sometimes the water stops running for an hour or two, but that’s just Delhi for you. We are just regular people needing a place to do our work. Being here in Yamuna Vihar feels right for us, even with the morning noise.
