Maxmind Abacus is on the ground floor over in Sector 14, Dwarka. The specific spot is 646, Ph-Ii, Pkt-Iiisector-14. Being on the ground floor is great because parents don't have to climb stairs when they bring their kids for abacus classes. You can usually hear the sound of the plastic beads clicking from the hallway. It’s a rhythmic sound that we’ve all grown to love. The space isn't huge, but we made sure there’s enough room for the little ones to sit comfortably. We have some colorful mats and small tables. It gets a bit chaotic when one class ends and the next one starts, but we manage. The walls are bright because we wanted it to feel like a place where kids want to be. We keep a box of spare pencils and erasers because someone always loses theirs. It’s a practical little academy. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. We just focus on the mental math and making sure the kids understand the steps. Sometimes we have to remind the kids to be quiet when they leave so we don't bother the people living upstairs. It’s a nice little community in this pocket of Dwarka. We spend our breaks checking the registers and making sure the kits are ready for the next day. There’s always someone around to answer questions if a parent stops by the window.
