Maersk India Pvt. Ltd(Logistics Division)

This office is right across from the Kargil Flats in Sector 18B. It’s a bit of a landmark if you’re driving around Dwarka. We handle a lot of the logistics side of things from Flat 569. It’s mostly just us looking at tracking numbers and talking to drivers throughout the day. The building is a DDA construction, so it has that familiar feel you see all over New Delhi. We've got a lot of files stacked up because shipping involves a lot of documents and customs work. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and that’s a real tragedy for the morning shift. We try to keep things organized, but when you're moving goods across the country, things can get messy fast. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of coordination and making sure trucks are where they need to be on time. We see the same faces every day and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The local shops nearby are where we usually grab lunch or a quick snack. We aren't big on fancy meetings; we'd rather just sit down and solve whatever problem popped up that morning. The logistics world is always moving, so we don't have much time for sitting around anyway. We just keep our heads down and handle the shipments as they come in. It's busy, it's loud sometimes, but it's what we do here in our corner of Sector 18B.
