M R Watch & Mobile Corners

M R Watch & Mobile Corners is found at F-13 in Mehrauli, right near the metro station and Gali No 2. It’s a convenient spot because so many people pass by on their way to the trains. We decided to handle both watches and mobile phones because that’s what people around here seem to need the most. One side of the shop is full of watch tools and spare batteries, while the other side has charging cables and screen guards for phones. It’s a bit of a mix, and the shelves are quite crowded. We often have people coming in in a hurry because their phone screen cracked or their watch stopped right before an appointment. The shop can get quite dusty because of all the construction and traffic near the metro. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit to work on the delicate bits. It’s not the quietest place to work with the metro announcements and the street vendors nearby, but we’ve gotten used to it. Sometimes the repairs are quick, like changing a SIM card or a watch strap, and other times we have to keep the item for a day or two. We don’t have a fancy waiting area, just enough space for a couple of people to stand. It’s a practical little shop meant for the people living and working in Mehrauli. We just keep our heads down and do the work without making too much of a fuss.
