Logistics Incharge

Our office, known as Star House, is tucked away in Mahipalpur Extension on Road Number 4. If you’re looking for us, you have to go down Desuwali Gali and look for Gali 7. It’s a bit hidden, but we like it that way. We’re the ones in charge of logistics here, and since we are so close to the airport, things move at a pretty fast pace. The office isn’t anything special to look at. It’s just a few rooms with sturdy desks and lots of filing cabinets that are overflowing with papers. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few maps of New Delhi and some calendars with notes scribbled all over them. It gets quite loud with the planes flying low overhead, so you have to speak up when you’re on the phone. We don't use any corporate buzzwords or have big meetings about goals. We just look at what needs to be moved today and we find a way to do it. The team is just a handful of us who know how to handle the chaos of the city. We drink a lot of chai and sometimes stay late into the night when a big shipment is coming in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We don't make big promises, we just do our best to keep things on track in this busy part of the city.
