Leighton Contractors India (P) Ltd.

We are over in Sector 7 of R.K. Puram, at House No. 1105. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main commercial roads of New Delhi. We’ve set up our contracting office here to manage the local projects. The house is a standard size, and we’ve filled it with desks and filing cabinets. Usually, the living room area is where we hold our meetings to go over the weekly goals. It’s a very grounded way of working. There’s no front desk or receptionist greeting you. You just walk in and someone is probably on the phone or looking at a computer. We deal with a lot of coordination between the different sites we have running. It can get a bit hectic when multiple things happen at once, but we just take it one step at a time. The neighbors are used to seeing us coming and going at all hours. We don’t have fancy coffee machines; we just make a pot of tea and get to work. Most of our days are spent checking budgets and making sure the equipment is where it should be. It’s a practical office for a practical job. We don’t worry about the decor much as long as the work gets done and the records are kept straight. This place serves us well for now.
