Leading Quality Assurance Department

We sit here in Sarojini Nagar in New Delhi. It's a busy area. The office is at B-326. Mostly we look at papers and check if things are right. The name of the place is Leading Quality Assurance Department, which sounds fancy, but really it's just a lot of checking and re-checking by hand. The fans hum all day. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud because it's Delhi. We've been at this address for a while now. Some of us take the metro and others walk. It gets hot in the summer. We keep our files organized on the shelves. There isn't much to say except we come in, do the work, and head home. We see a lot of different products or documents pass through our hands. Every day is kind of the same but that's okay. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we take a ten-minute break. We use old desks. The lighting is a bit dim in the back corner. We try to be careful with the details because that's what we are here for. If someone needs a check done, they send it over to B-326. It’s a plain building. Nothing special to look at from the street. We just keep our heads down and finish the stack on the desk. Sometimes we stay late when there's a lot to do. Most of the time we just manage. We have a small rug near the door that’s always crooked. The printers often run out of ink right when we are in a hurry.
