Laurie Baker Building

We are over in R K Puram, right in Ekta Vihar near the Delhi Jal Board office. It’s a busy spot, but we’ve made a decent home for ourselves here at Laurie Baker Building. Most days involve looking at site plans or talking to workers about how a wall should go up. We aren't interested in fancy talk or making things sound bigger than they are. We just do building work. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty from all the samples lying around, but that’s how it goes when you’re actually getting your hands dirty. People around here know us as the folks who show up and get the job done without too much fuss. We’ve been in this part of Delhi for a while now, and we’ve seen the area change a lot. The heat in the summer makes the site visits tough, but we keep at it. Our team is small, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools and the paperwork. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby with coffee machines. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of drawings. If you come by, you’ll probably see us arguing over a measurement or checking a material delivery. We try to keep things simple because building stuff is complicated enough on its own. It’s just regular work for us, day in and day out, making sure things stand up straight. We don't worry about being the biggest name around, just about doing the task at hand.
