L&T Ecc Divison

Our office is tucked away in Santosh Apartment, which is Plot No.39B in Sector-6 of Dwarka. If you know New Delhi, you know that Dwarka is its own little world. We are in room 706, so it’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens once in a while. Being part of the L&T ECC Division here means dealing with a lot of coordination for the urban projects. It’s a residential building, so the vibe is very different from a commercial hub. You see people carrying groceries in the hallway while we are carrying blueprints. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the desks and the computers, but we make it work. The view from the window shows a bit of the skyline and the tops of other apartment blocks. We don’t have any fancy signage outside, just the number on the door. Lunchtime usually involves someone going down to the local market in Sector-6 to get some rolls or samosas. The traffic around the apartment can get a bit messy during the peak hours, so most of us try to get in early. We spend a lot of time on the phone with site engineers and suppliers. It’s a busy environment but feels like a home office in many ways. We use old metal cupboards for the documents. It’s just a normal place where work gets done every day without any big fuss or corporate polish.
