Kichhana Foundation

Our office is located at House Number 27 on the ground floor of Block K in Chanakya Place II, Uttam Nagar. Being on the ground floor is really helpful because people can just walk right in without having to deal with stairs or elevators. This part of West Delhi is always busy, with people moving around and shops everywhere. We’ve been in this 110059 area for a while, and we’ve gotten to know the shopkeepers and the families living nearby quite well. The foundation is run out of a few simple rooms. It’s not particularly modern, but it has everything we need to stay productive. We’ve got a couple of old desks and a very reliable printer that gets a lot of use. Most days involve a lot of chatting with visitors and writing things down in our ledgers. We don't really do the whole professional branding thing. It’s more about being available when someone needs a bit of guidance or support. Sometimes the noise from the street gets quite loud, but that’s just life in Uttam Nagar. We keep the door open when the weather is nice to let some air in. It’s a very plain, honest sort of workspace. We aren't trying to impress anyone; we’re just here to do the work that needs doing in our little corner of the city.
