Khatana Dairy

Khatana Dairy is located right here in Dwarka Mahaveer Enclave, specifically at Gali Number 5 D 1/93. We’ve been running things from this spot for a while now. Every morning starts way before the sun is even up for us. You can hear the heavy milk cans clanking as the delivery comes in on the truck. It’s usually very quiet at 4 AM, but by 6, the local neighbors start showing up for their morning packets of milk and curd. We keep things pretty simple inside the shop. There are the refrigerators humming in the background and a few crates stacked up near the entrance. Some days it gets really busy, especially during festivals when everyone wants extra paneer or ghee for their cooking at home. My hands are usually cold from handling the packets all morning. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure everything is sorted out. Sometimes the floor gets a bit wet from the ice melting, so you have to watch your step when you walk in. We know most of the families living in the lane by their names. People often stop by just to ask about the time or share a bit of local news while they pay. It’s just how things go here at Gali Number 5. We don't change much, just keep the milk stocked and wait for the regulars to come by.
