Khandelwal Bros

Khandelwal Bros is located in the basement of Shubh Ram Complex, which is D-96. We are right across from the community center in Munirka Village. It’s a basement spot, so it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice. Munirka is a crowded place with narrow lanes and lots of people moving around. We’ve been in this complex for a good number of years. The basement can be a bit dark, so we have to keep the tube lights on all day. It’s mostly just us brothers and a couple of helpers. We sell various goods, mostly things people need for their homes or small projects. There’s always boxes stacked up near the entrance. Sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze to get through. We know most of the people who live nearby. They stop in when they need something quick. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here. The community center opposite us usually has something going on, so there’s always noise and activity. We just keep our heads down and serve whoever comes down the stairs. It’s honest work. We don't make a big deal out of it. Just a local shop trying to provide what’s needed for the folks around here. We close up when the sun goes down and head home for the day. That is how we have always done it.
