KAPOOR AVINASH

I am Avinash Kapoor and I have been based here at B 7, 75/2 in the Dda Flats of Safdarjung Enclave for quite some time. Living and working in the same area has its pros and cons. The flats here have a certain look to them, and everyone sort of knows everyone else's business. My workspace is just a small room set aside from the main living area. It is filled with books and various papers that I probably should have organized years ago. I spend most of my mornings answering calls or dealing with people who drop by for advice or specific services I provide. It is not a corporate setup by any means. Sometimes the doorbell rings right when I am in the middle of something important, like a late breakfast, but that is part of the charm of working from a residential area. The trees outside my window are nice, though they block the light in the winter months. I started this back when I realized I didn't want to commute to an office anymore. It took some time to get the neighbors used to the fact that I was actually working and not just sitting around. I keep things pretty informal. If someone needs something done, they usually just give me a shout or send a message. It works for me and it seems to work for the people who come here. Usually, there is some chai if you catch me at the right hour.
