Our office is tucked away in Mahavir Enclave over in the Bengali Colony area. It is near Dwarka, which makes it a good spot for us to work from. We do town planning and layout work here at H 4/97. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but once you find us, it is a quiet place to sit and look at maps. We have been at this location for several years now. The team is quite small, just a few of us who know how to handle the drawings and the government paperwork. New Delhi is always changing and growing, so there is never a shortage of plans to look at. We have a couple of big desks and many rolls of paper scattered around. Sometimes the tea guy from the corner comes by and we take a little break to talk. It is a normal, everyday office environment. We are not a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. Just K L J Town Planners doing our part. We know this specific part of Delhi very well. It is very busy outside on the main streets, but it stays fairly calm inside our office walls. Most of the people who come to us found out through a friend or a neighbor. We do not do any big advertising. We just focus on the plans on our table and hope for the best. It is simple work but it keeps us very busy.
