J.K Cement

J.K Cement is located in Mahavir Enclave, which is right on that busy edge between New Delhi and Haryana. We’ve been at this Rzc-3/53 address for a long time. It’s a dusty business, dealing with heavy cement bags and truck deliveries all day long. Our place isn't anything special to look at. It’s mostly just a storage area and a small, slightly cluttered desk where we handle the orders and the billing. We supply cement for local builders and people who are just doing their own small home repairs. The traffic around this part of New Delhi can be a real pain when the trucks are trying to get in and out of the enclave. We spend a lot of our time on the phone coordinating with the drivers and making sure the bags get delivered where they need to go. We aren't some big corporate office with people walking around in suits. We wear our regular work clothes because we’re often helping load the bags onto the tempos ourselves. The weather affects us a lot; if it starts raining, everything has to stop because you can't let the cement bags get wet or they’re ruined. We’ve seen this neighborhood grow a lot over the years, with new houses and shops popping up everywhere. It’s good for business, but it definitely keeps us very busy. We try to keep our prices fair and just get the job done without any unnecessary drama for our customers.
