Our place is right in Bhikaji Cama Place 12. If you know Delhi, you know how busy this area gets with all the traffic and people rushing around. We work out of here focusing on Jindal Stainless Ltd business. It’s mostly office work in this building, keeping track of things and making sure the paperwork for the steel side of stuff is handled. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the files, but we make it work. Most of us have been working in this spot for years, so we’re used to the noise outside. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the daily logs. It’s not the quietest place to spend a day, but it’s where we are. We handle a lot of phone calls and try to keep everyone on the same page. The elevators are always full in the morning, so some of us just take the stairs if we’re feeling up to it. We don't really have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a desk and a few chairs and the computers we need to do the job. It’s honest work, even if it’s just looking at numbers and steel specs all afternoon. We stay pretty late most nights to finish up. That’s just the way it goes when things get busy. We’re just local people doing our jobs right in the middle of the city.
