Jindal Saw Limited, New Delhi

Our office is right in the middle of the action at Bhikaji Cama Place in New Delhi. We are located in the Jindal Centre building, specifically working in the Marketing Department. Unlike some of our smaller outposts, this place is always buzzing. It is a massive building and we have a lot of people coming in and out. Even though it is a big corporate hub, our desk area feels a bit cramped with all the brochures and samples of saws and pipes. The elevators are always crowded in the morning, so some of us just take the stairs if we aren't feeling lazy. You can see the traffic piled up on the Ring Road from the windows. It’s a loud, busy environment. We spend most of our time on emails and talking to people about orders. Lunch is usually a quick bite at one of the stalls downstairs or something brought from home. We don't really have a fancy lounge or anything. It’s just rows of desks and a lot of ringing phones. It can get a bit stressful when a big deadline is coming up, but we just put our heads down and get it done. The office has that old-school feel with lots of paper files despite all the computers. It’s a solid place to work if you don't mind the chaos of South Delhi. We just focus on keeping the marketing side moving.
