We’ve been operating Jawal Parshad & Sons out of Mehrauli for a long time now. If you know the Main Market area, you know how crowded it gets with people and rickshaws all day. Our spot is at 830/6, and it’s usually quite a busy scene. Sanjit Kumar Singh is the one who handles a lot of the day-to-day things here. He stays busy with the paperwork and talking to people who come in. It isn't some fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular place where we get our work done. Most mornings start with tea and checking what needs to be delivered or sorted. We don't really have a big staff, so everyone just chips in. The building is old, like most things in this part of New Delhi, but it serves us well. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked, but we just keep moving along. We don't really do much advertising because people around here already know where to find us. It’s a simple way of doing things, really. We just show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It’s been that way for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the business going steady.
