If you want to find Jaiprakash Associates in Munirka, you have to look for the R.S. Tokas building. We are in Room Number 4, inside House 215A. Munirka Village is a maze of narrow lanes and tall buildings crowded together. It is very different from the wider roads of New Delhi. You have to walk past a lot of small shops and houses to find our door. The room isn't very large, but it fits our desks and the few chairs we have for guests. It can get quite loud outside with people talking and scooters zooming through the alleys. We’ve been in this spot for a while. It’s a very local feel here. Most people living around us are students or workers, so there is always a lot of energy. We spend our days mostly on the phone or working on the computer. It’s a bit dark inside because the buildings are so close together, so we keep the lights on even during the day. Sometimes the water pump makes a lot of noise, but we are used to it. It’s a good spot because the rent is fair and we are right in the middle of a very active part of the city. We do our work and head home.
