Indo - German Export Promotion Projects

Our office is located at German House-2, which is on Nayaya Marg in Chanakyapuri. Chanakyapuri is a very different part of Delhi. It’s full of wide roads, lots of green trees, and it’s very quiet because of all the embassies around. We work under the name Indo - German Export Promotion Projects. The building itself has a bit of a formal feel to it, being in such a diplomatic area, but inside we are just regular people working on trade stuff. We spend our time trying to help goods move between India and Germany. It involves a lot of reading through regulations and talking to different departments. We aren't a big commercial company looking for profits in the usual way. Our focus is more on the projects and making sure the connections are made. The atmosphere in the office is usually quite focused. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic because of where we are located. Most people come for scheduled meetings. The house we are in is well-maintained, but it’s a workplace, not a showroom. We don't use a lot of fancy language to describe our daily routine. It’s mostly about coordination and keeping track of various export initiatives. We’ve been in this Chanakyapuri spot for a long time and we like the peace it offers for the kind of detailed work we have to do every day. It works well.
