Ichicare Foundation

Our foundation is located in Vasant Vihar, on the second floor of House No E 9/8. South West Delhi is a decent place to be, and our spot is relatively quiet compared to the noisier parts of the city. We have a few rooms where we handle all the Ichicare Foundation business. It isn't one of those glass buildings you see in the newer parts of town. It’s actually more like a regular house that we’ve turned into an office. We think this makes it feel more comfortable for everyone. There’s usually a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area. Most of our day is spent answering emails or talking on the phone with people who need our help. We don't have any flashy advertisements or a big sign on the road. People usually find us because someone told them about us. The stairs up to our floor are a little steep, so we tell everyone to watch their step. Inside, things are a bit messy with books and documents everywhere. We aren't trying to be a corporate giant. We are just a few people trying to keep things running smoothly. Every day brings something different. Some mornings are slow, and then by the afternoon, we are all rushing to finish things. We don't use big words or fancy talk. We just do the work and try to be helpful to the folks who reach out to us.
