Harji Engg. Works (P) Ltd

This branch of Harji Engg. is located at flat number 706 in Santosh Apartment. It’s in Sector 6 of Dwarka, which is a bit different from the usual industrial areas. We’re set up in a residential building, c/o Murali Dhar Singh, on plot 39B. Since we’re on the seventh floor, we actually have a pretty decent view of the neighborhood, which is a nice change of pace. We use this space more for the administrative and planning side of our engineering work. It’s a lot quieter here than at a workshop, which helps when we need to focus on blueprints or the accounts. We have a couple of desks, some computers, and a lot of filing cabinets filled with years of project notes. Murali Dhar Singh is usually around, making sure things are running smoothly. It’s a small, tight-knit team working out of this apartment. We don’t get a lot of walk-in traffic like a regular shop would, so it’s mostly scheduled meetings and phone calls. Sometimes we have to head across New Delhi to check on the actual work sites, but this is where the planning happens. It’s a practical way for us to manage the business side of things without all the noise. We eat our lunch on the balcony sometimes when the weather is nice. It’s just a normal office in a normal building where we get our daily tasks done without any fluff.
