Hansgurakh Foundation

We are set up at Plot Number 40 in the village of Dhansa, over in Jaffarpur. It’s a quiet area compared to the main city, and we like it that way. The foundation has been here for a bit, and we’ve become a regular part of the village life. Our building is a basic structure, nothing too modern or eye-catching. We have a couple of rooms where we do all our planning and meetings. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the birds and the occasional tractor going by. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us doing what we think is right for the community. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait or talk until it comes back on. We don't mind the slower pace of things here. It gives us time to actually listen to what people are saying. Our desks are old and the chairs creak a little, but they work fine. We focus on local issues and helping out where we can. Most of the people working here are from around Jaffarpur, so we’re all neighbors anyway. We usually have a big pot of tea going in the morning. People know they can just stop by if they need something. We don't have any grand plans to move or change things. We’re happy just being here and doing our daily work in this little corner of Delhi.
