Global Meetei Foundation

We are located in Uttam Nagar, specifically in Raja Puri. The address is B43, on the under-ground floor, back side of Gali Number 19 in Block B. It can be a little tricky to find if you aren't from around here, but it’s near the main landmarks. Global Meetei Foundation isn't a huge organization with a glass building. We work from this basement space because it’s what we have and it works for us. It stays a bit cooler down here in the summer months, which is a plus. We spend our days dealing with various tasks and talking to people who come by. Uttam Nagar is always crowded and loud, but that’s the energy we work with. There is no polished corporate vibe here. We have old chairs and a lot of paper everywhere. We started this because we wanted to have a base for our activities. Some days are better than others, and sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but we show up every day regardless. It is just a group of us trying to keep things moving. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just do the work and go home. That is really all there is to it. We are just part of the local fabric here in Raja Puri, making sure things get done without making a big deal out of it. It's just a regular office.
