Ghonsla Foundation

We are located in Rohini Sector 14, over at D-11 in the Prashant Vihar area. Our office is up on the second floor. We called ourselves the Ghonsla Foundation because ghonsla means nest, and that is how we like to think of our small workspace. It is a simple, safe spot where we try to get things done for the people around us. We don't have any fancy furniture or expensive equipment in here. It is mostly just a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of effort from the people who work here. We focus on helping out the folks in the West Delhi area, mainly just by being a resource they can actually talk to. Whether it is helping children with their schoolwork or helping adults find information about services they didn't know were available, we try to be there. We are not a big, cold organization that doesn't care about individuals. We know our neighbors and they know us pretty well too. Sometimes we end up staying quite late because there is just so much to do, and other days we might close up a bit early if things are quiet. We definitely make mistakes sometimes, just like anyone else does, but we always try our best to fix them. Being in Prashant Vihar is nice because it is a very lively area with a lot going on. We just want to be a small part of that, helping out where we can without making a big fuss about things.
