Friends Indeed Foundation

We’ve been here at the IRCON Apartments in Dwarka for a while now. If you head up to the third floor and look for B-306, that is where you will find a couple of us usually drinking tea and sorting through paperwork. We didn't really plan on becoming a big organization or anything. It just started because a few neighbors wanted to do something useful with their spare time after work. Sector-18A is a quiet enough area, but there is always someone who needs a hand with something. We don't have a fancy reception or a big sign outside. Most people hear about us through word of mouth or just by bumping into us in the stairwell. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we get our exercise climbing those stairs every day. It’s not a glamorous setup, just a regular apartment turned into a workspace where we try to manage things. We spend most of our mornings answering phone calls and trying to figure out who needs what. It gets a bit crowded when more than three people show up at once, but we make it work with the chairs we have. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, just trying to be decent neighbors and help out where it makes sense. It’s a lot of small tasks that pile up, but we just take it one day at a time without too much fuss. We just do what we can.
