Our company is called Econ Constructions Co. Pvt. Ltd. Dwarka is a pretty big place with a lot of sectors, but Sector 11 is where we’ve set up our shop. It's a flat, so it's not a huge industrial warehouse or one of those fancy skyscrapers. We have some computers, some blueprints, and a lot of coffee to keep us going. Working out of a flat makes things feel more personal, I guess. We know the neighbors and the security guards. We’ve been doing construction work for a long time now. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the sites have what they need to keep moving. Most of the real work happens out at the building sites, so the office is mainly for the boring parts like billing and planning. It gets busy during the day. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow or broken, but we don’t mind the stairs much. We aren't flashy people. We just want to finish the projects we started. The weather in Dwarka is just like the rest of Delhi—dusty and hot most of the year. We have a small sign, but you have to look for it to see it. We've got enough space for what we do. It’s a straightforward business and we like keeping it that way without any extra drama or complicated stuff.
