Our office is at 286 Satya Niketan, right in the heart of South Delhi. If you know the area, you know it’s usually full of students and small eateries. We are a construction firm, which feels a bit different from the cafes around us, but it works. The building is one of those typical Delhi structures where we’ve taken up some space to run our operations. Every day is a bit different. We might be looking at blueprints or talking to contractors on the phone. The noise from the street is always there, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s a practical place to be because it’s easy to get to other parts of the city from here. We aren't big on corporate polish. There are files stacked on desks and half-empty tea cups everywhere. It’s just how we work. We focus on the building projects we have going on and try to keep things moving forward. Sometimes there are delays or things don’t go as planned, which is just part of being in construction. We don’t spend much time writing about ourselves because there’s always a site to visit or a permit to check on. It’s a busy life here in New Delhi, and we are just one of many companies trying to get things built. It’s a bit chaotic, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep our heads down.
