It’s a bit different working out of an apartment-style plot, but it works for us. We handle freight moving from here, which involves a lot of phone calls and checking on truck positions. Dwarka is a bit more spread out than other parts of Delhi, but the work is just as intense. Our office is fairly simple. We have our computers and our files, and that’s about it. We don't put on any airs about being a big corporate firm. It’s a private limited setup where everyone knows each other’s names. We deal with all kinds of cargo, from small batches to large loads. The day usually starts with a lot of coordination to see what went out overnight. We don't have a dedicated marketing person, so we just rely on the fact that we’ve been around for a while. Sometimes the internet is spotty or the phones don't stop ringing, and you just have to manage. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to get these goods moved to the right place. It’s a lot of logistical puzzles that we have to solve every day. Most of us just want to finish the work and get home through the Delhi traffic without any major delays.
