In New Delhi, Doka India is located in Safdarjung Enclave. We are at Flat No. 3 on the second floor of house number 44 in Humayunpur. It is quite close to the Barat Ghar, which makes it easier for people to find us. This part of Delhi is very active. The building is an older style, but it works for us. We have a few rooms set up for the staff. It is a mix of residential and commercial around here. Safdarjung Enclave has its own pace. The traffic in the lanes can be tricky during the evening. We do our engineering work and coordination from these desks. There is no big sign outside, just a small one by the door. We drink a lot of coffee while going through the project plans. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or use the backup generator. It is a simple office. We do not have a fancy canteen, so we go out to the local market for food. The windows look out onto the street where you can see the daily life of the neighborhood. We have been in this flat for a while. It is comfortable enough for a small team to get the work done without much fuss. We prefer being in a real neighborhood rather than a sterile office park. It feels more like home and keeps us grounded while we work on big projects.
