We are located over at D-519 in Tagore Garden Extension. It is on the first floor, so you have to walk up the stairs. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work for everything we do with the cargo consolidation. Usually, the office is pretty cluttered with files and manifests because there is always something moving. The area around here in New Delhi gets quite busy during the day, so parking can be a bit of a headache if you’re coming by car. Inside, it’s just a few of us sitting at our desks, mostly on the phone or typing away. We’ve been in this spot for some time now. You can hear the noise from the street coming through the windows. It’s a lot of coordinating where stuff goes and making sure the paperwork matches up. Sometimes the internet is slow, which is annoying when we need to update records. People stop by sometimes just to check on their stuff. We don’t have any fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical workplace. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for most of us. Cargo consolidation is basically just puzzles with boxes and containers, trying to get things to fit. It’s a lot of logistics work without the fluff. We just keep our heads down and get the manifests sorted. Tagore Garden is a decent neighborhood for this kind of thing.
