Our office is based in Bijwasan, New Delhi, right at Ram Niwas Rana’s house. The address is house number 413, and it is very close to the big water tank near Holi Chowk. Most people in the area know the tank, so it makes us easy to find. It is a busy neighborhood, especially during the festivals. Being in a house rather than a big office building makes it feel a bit more like home. We deal with logistics and freight, so there is always something going on. Sometimes a truck pulls up and we have to go out and help with the unloading. The office inside is simple. We have a few desks, some sturdy chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets for all the shipping documents. It can get a bit noisy with the street traffic right outside, but we are used to it by now. We have been here for a while and know many of the neighbors. We take turns going out to get snacks from the market at Holi Chowk. The power goes out sometimes, like it does in many parts of Delhi, so we keep some flashlights handy. We don't have any corporate decorations or fancy carpets. It is just a place where we work hard to keep everything on schedule. We just focus on the boxes and the paperwork and try to stay organized through the busy season.
