Dhl Express

Dhl Express is over at 58 Satya Niketan, right across from Venkateshvara College in New Delhi. Because we are so close to the college, we see a lot of students coming in to send papers or boxes back home. The area is always full of life and young people walking around. Our shop is easy to find if you know where the college is. Inside, it is just the usual counter and scales for weighing things. We spend a lot of time scanning barcodes and taping up boxes that weren't closed quite right. Delhi traffic is always a mess outside our door, so the sound of horns is something we just get used to. We have some posters on the wall and a clock that ticks a bit too loud when it is quiet. Usually, it isn't quiet though. We handle a lot of international mail and local parcels every day. Sometimes the line gets long, especially in the afternoons when everyone realizes they need to ship something before we close. We try to move as fast as we can. Our staff knows most of the regulars by name now. It is a small space but we keep it organized so nothing gets lost. People come in with all sorts of questions about how long a package will take to reach somewhere far away. We just look it up and tell them. It is a standard routine that keeps us going through the week.
