Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System

We are over at House No. 107A/234 on the 1st Floor of Street No. 7, Block-L in Mahipalpur Extension. This is where we handle things for the Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System. It is a bit of a mouthful of a name, but we just call it DIMTS for short. The office is right in the middle of a busy New Delhi neighborhood, so parking can be a real pain for anyone visiting us. We are tucked away on the first floor, and the stairs are a bit narrow and steep. Inside, it is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of people talking about bus routes and transit plans. Mahipalpur is always crowded because it is so close to the airport, so there is a lot of noise from planes and traffic outside. We do not have a big fancy lobby or any receptionist to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find whoever you need to talk to. It is a bit messy with papers and folders everywhere, but that is how we work. We are just trying to figure out how to make the city's transport better, even if it feels like a very slow process sometimes. The 110037 area has its quirks, like the occasional power cut, but we manage. We are not here to impress anyone with a shiny office. We just want to get through the data and the planning without too many hiccups.
