Csis Foundation

Csis Foundation is based in New Seelampur at H-98 on the ground floor. It’s a very local spot and we are right there on the street level. Being on the ground floor means we see everything that happens outside. There is always a lot of movement in New Seelampur, with people going to the markets or just hanging around the neighborhood. Our office is small and a bit cramped, but we make it work. We have a couple of old desks and some plastic chairs for when visitors come by. It’s not the kind of place that has a fancy glass door or a receptionist. We just sit there and handle our daily business as it comes. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We have a lot of folders piled up on the shelves. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't use much jargon or complicated systems. Everything is pretty much pen and paper or simple computer work. Sometimes the kids from the street peek in through the door. It’s a lively atmosphere and we feel like we are part of the daily life here. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out, without making much of a fuss about it. It is just a normal office in a busy part of town where we do our best.
