Club Excell.

Our gym is located in the Hans Building, specifically Shop No-D-89, right on the Main Road in Chattarpur. It is along the 100 Feet Road, so the traffic outside is always moving fast. Club Excell. is a spot where people from the Chattarpur area come to get away from that traffic for an hour or two. The building is easy to spot from the road. We are on the ground level mostly, which makes it easy to just walk in. The space inside is long and we have lined up the treadmills along one wall. We have a mix of old-school heavy weights and some newer machines we picked up last year. It is not the biggest gym in Delhi, but it is ours. We take care of the equipment ourselves for the most part. If a cable breaks, we fix it as fast as we can. The crowd is a mix of young students and older folks who have lived in Chattarpur for decades. It creates a nice balance. We do not have a juice bar or a lounge area. There are just some benches where you can sit and catch your breath. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, but it makes people feel less self-conscious I think. We just keep the doors open and the fans spinning to keep it fresh. It is a regular place for regular people trying to stay fit.
