Chyan Hospital

Dashrath Puri is a busy spot in Palam. Chyan Hospital is located at B- 2/17- B in Gali Number 10. If you know Palam, you know these narrow streets can be a bit of a maze for anyone driving. There is always someone moving a scooter or a delivery truck trying to squeeze past the corners. Our building sits right there in the middle of it all. It is a local place through and through. Most of our staff lives nearby, so we know the neighbors pretty well. The hospital isn't one of those giant glass buildings you see in the fancy parts of Delhi. It is more down-to-earth and practical. We have a few floors and the stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. On hot days, the fans are always spinning at full speed. We spend our time checking on patients and making sure the medicine cabinet is stocked up with everything we need. Sometimes the lobby gets a bit crowded with families waiting, and it gets a little loud. But that is just how it is here. We try to keep things moving as best as we can without rushing anyone. There is always a bit of dust from the road outside, so we are constantly cleaning the floors. It is a lot of hard work, but it feels good to be right here in the community. You see kids playing in the gali outside and the tea stall nearby is always busy.
