Our office is tucked away at No.11, Pocket-1, in Sector-19 of Dwarka. It’s a fairly quiet corner of the neighborhood, which is nice when you’re trying to deal with all the paperwork we have to handle. We work in the international trade side of things, so there is always a lot of back and forth with shipping companies and people in other countries. My desk is usually buried under a pile of invoices and shipping manifests, and the phone seems to ring at the oddest hours because of the time differences. We aren't some big corporate giant with a glass building. It’s just a practical workspace where we make sure things move from point A to point B without getting stuck at a port somewhere. Most of our day is spent checking emails and making sure the containers are on schedule. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that’s usually when we take a break and talk about something other than logistics. Being in Sector-19 means we are close to some good food spots, which helps on the long days. We don't put on any acts here. We just do our job, handle the exports and imports, and try to stay organized even when the files start to stack up too high. It’s a small team and we’ve all been doing this long enough to know the routine by heart and get the job done right.
