Baskin Robbins

Baskin Robbins in Palam is a simple little ice cream shop. It isn't very large, and sometimes the freezer makes a humming sound that you just get used to after an hour. We spend a lot of our time wiping down the glass counters because kids are always putting their hands on them to see the flavors. Palam is a busy area, so we get all sorts of people walking in, from students to families out for a walk. The floor is white tile and we have to mop it quite a bit because of the drips. It is a bright place, maybe a bit too bright sometimes when the sun is reflecting off the street. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just make sure the tubs are full and the scoops are clean. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the stock, which is the stressful part of the job. Most of the time, it is just us standing behind the counter waiting for the next person to come through the door. We have a few small tables, but they usually fill up fast in the evenings when it cools down outside. It is just a regular part of the neighborhood where people go when they want something cold. Nothing more, nothing less. We are just here doing our job in Palam every day of the week.
