B K Photo Emporium

We've been here at B K Photo Emporium in R K Puram for quite a bit now. It’s just a regular spot where we handle all sorts of camera stuff and prints. Most days it’s just us figuring out how to get the lighting right or helping someone who’s not really sure what they need for their old film camera. The shop isn't fancy. We have a lot of boxes lying around sometimes and the desk gets cluttered with receipts and lens caps. People come in from the neighborhood, usually locals who know us by name. We don't do big flashy ads or anything like that. It’s just about getting the job done. Sometimes the printers act up and we have to spend an hour fixing them, which is just part of the day. R K Puram is a busy area so there's always noise from outside. We keep our doors open mostly. It’s funny how people still want physical photos in this day and age but they do. We see a lot of families coming in for passport photos or just wanting to print something from their phones. We aren't a big chain, just a small place trying to keep things moving. If you walk past, you'll see the sign hanging a bit crooked. That’s just how it is here. We try to stay organized but with so many small parts and cameras, it’s a constant battle. It’s a good way to spend the day though, talking to people about their pictures.
