We operate out of Rz-H-302-B in Raj Nagar-Ii, which is part of the Palam Colony area in New Delhi. Being so close to the airport means we hear planes taking off and landing all through the day. Our shop is filled with equipment for construction and auto needs. It’s a bit of a cluttered space, with parts and tools stacked up on heavy metal shelves that reach the ceiling. We spend a lot of time searching through bins for specific bolts or valves. The floor is concrete and usually has a few oil stains here and there. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. Our small team knows where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to an outsider. We open up early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. The neighborhood is very crowded, and parking is always a nightmare on our street. We mostly deal with contractors and mechanics who know exactly what they need. There is no sales pitch here, just honest talk about what we have in stock. We use an old ledger to keep track of some things, though we have a computer for the official stuff. It gets very dusty during the dry months, and we have to wipe down the counters constantly. It’s just a basic business helping people keep their machines running. We do our work and go home to our families.
