Our place is over at Rz 135 in Raghu Nagar, right off Pankha Road. It is a busy part of the city, and the street noise is something we have just learned to live with. The office itself is pretty simple and functional. We have a few computers, some large desks for looking at maps and plans, and way too many books on construction techniques. We are not trying to be anything we are not. It is just a functional space for a small team to get together and work. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, especially if we have a lot of site samples lying around the floor. Pankha Road is a major landmark nearby, so people do not usually have trouble finding the turn-off to get to us. We spend a lot of our time talking to local builders and checking on the progress at different spots around town. The office is our home base. We keep a kettle in the corner for constant tea throughout the day. It is a relaxed atmosphere, though it gets a bit tense when a big deadline is approaching. We have been in Raghu Nagar for a while and know the local shopkeepers well. There is often a lot of dust from the road, but we try to keep the place looking decent enough. We just talk about how to get things built.
