Our office is located in the Aggarwal City Mall on Road Number 44 in Pritampura. We are in Unit No 309. It’s a bit of a maze in the mall sometimes, especially if you aren't used to the layout, but once you find us, it’s a quiet spot to work. Association For Transgender Health Inindia has been operating out of this unit for a while now. It’s not exactly what you’d expect for an office—being inside a shopping mall—but it works for us. We have enough space for our desks and a small area where we can sit and talk about our projects. Pritampura is a very lively part of town, so there's always something happening nearby. We don't have a big staff or a fancy setup. It's just a few of us who really care about the work we do. We spend a lot of time on the computer and talking to people on the phone. We don't use corporate talk or try to sound more important than we are. We are just regular people working in a small office. Sometimes the mall music drifts in through the door, but we just ignore it. We keep our files in simple folders and our pens in old mugs on our desks. It’s a real, lived-in space. We chose this location because it's accessible and it fits our budget. We don't need a fancy glass tower to do what we do. We just need a desk and a bit of peace to get through the day's tasks. It’s enough for us.
