Anand Mincons

We are based over in Naraina Industrial Area, Phase II, at plot B-79. It is a bit of a maze back here with all the narrow streets and industrial units, but we like it because everything we need is close by. We work with minerals and construction materials, mostly stuff that goes into making other products. The facility is a mix of a warehouse and a small office space tucked away in the corner. It gets a bit dusty because of the materials we handle, so we are always sweeping up. There are five of us who work here full-time, and we have all been doing this for years. We do not really have a big sign out front, just the number on the gate. Most of our time is spent checking the quality of the loads coming in and making sure the weights are right before they go out. It is a lot of physical work and keeping an eye on the details. The lunch break is usually the best part of the day when we all sit around the old wooden table and talk about things other than work. The phone rings a lot with people asking for prices or delivery times. We try to be helpful without making things complicated. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of environment. We just do our bit in the supply chain and go home at the end of the day.
