Alpine Space Concepts

Our place is located at F331A in Lado Sarai, inside the Magazine House. It’s right behind that CNG petrol pump, which makes it easy to find once you know the turn. Lado Sarai is full of creative shops and we fit right in with our messy desks and rolls of drawings. We work on space concepts, which basically means we figure out how to make rooms look better and work right. The building is a bit older, so the walls have some character and the stairs creak when you walk up. We have samples of wood and fabric scattered all over the place. It’s not a polished showroom where everything is perfect. It looks like a place where work actually happens. We spend a lot of time arguing over where a shelf should go or what color a wall should be. Sometimes we stay late and order food from the place down the street. It’s a small team here and we’ve known each other for a long time. The view out the window isn't much, just the back of the petrol pump and some trees, but it’s home for us. We just take things one project at a time and try to keep our clients happy with what we come up with. It's a lot of sketching and measuring and re-measuring to get things right.
