I am Abhishek Auluck and my office is tucked away in Khari Baoli at Plot No 404/2. It’s on the first floor in Katra Maid Gram. If you’ve ever been to Khari Baoli, you know how crowded and lively it is. It’s one of those places where you can smell the spices from blocks away. It’s a bit of a climb to the first floor, but it’s where I keep everything organized. I spend most of my time here dealing with the day-to-day operations. It’s not a large place, just enough room for the essentials. Working in this part of town requires a bit of patience because of the narrow lanes and the constant movement of goods. But there is an energy here that you don’t find anywhere else. I started this because I wanted to work for myself in an area that actually feels like a marketplace. Most of the people I deal with are other traders or local residents who need specific things handled. I try to keep things simple. No big promises, just showing up and doing the work. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the deliveries and people, but that’s just part of the deal when you’re in Katra Maid Gram. I’m usually there from morning until the market starts to wind down in the evening. It’s hard work, but it’s honest and it keeps me busy.
