Abhisha Foundation

Abhisha Foundation is located at House Number 13 in Sector 6. It’s a quiet residential area, which is nice for getting work done without too many distractions. We’ve been using this house as our base for a while now. It’s just a regular building, nothing that stands out from the street, but it works for us. Inside, we’ve set up a couple of rooms for our daily tasks. We aren't some big group with a lot of funding; we just do what we can with what we have. Most of the time, it’s just a few of us coordinating things and making sure our projects are moving forward. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If you knock, one of us will just come to the door. We spend a lot of time talking to people in the neighborhood and seeing what needs attention. It’s very local and very hands-on. Sometimes we sit out in the small yard when the weather is decent to discuss our plans. We keep things pretty informal here. There’s no dress code or corporate meetings. We just show up and get to work on whatever is most pressing that day. It’s a simple setup, but it allows us to stay focused on the community without getting lost in the business side of things. We like being in Sector 6. It has a good feel to it and the neighbors are mostly friendly folks who know us by now.
