Down here in Palam Colony, at Rzh-130, Gali No-4, things move at their own pace. Aayush Homeopath Clinic is tucked away a bit, so you have to look for Solanki Chowk in Raj Nagar to find us easily. The street can be quite narrow, especially if someone parks a scooter in the wrong way. I spend a lot of time filling those tiny glass bottles with the white pills. It's a quiet kind of work compared to the big hospitals. People come in complaining about things that haven't gone away for months. We sit and talk for a long time because that’s how homeopathy works, you have to know everything about the person's habits. My desk is usually covered in old medical journals and half-empty tea cups. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody seems to mind the way it looks. We get a lot of locals from the colony and some folks who travel from further away because they heard about us from a neighbor. It’s not a big staff, just a couple of us making sure the medicines are ready. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan is always on high speed. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. If someone needs us, they just walk through the door at Solanki Chowk and wait their turn in the hallway. We try to be helpful to everyone who walks in.
